Les Vases à Oranger

Les Vases à Oranger collection is the result of a collaboration between the Palace of Versailles and the Faïencerie de Gien. The theme of this design is, more sepcificallt, the palace gardens, the absolute masterpiece of the "King of Gardeners" and the King's gardener: André Le Nôtre.
Each piece in the collection features a border that draws inspiration from gardens: plant architecture and the art of trellising. Particular care was taken in the design of this motif to highlight the "engraving effect" of the archives from which the collection draws its inspiration.
